Porsche Shifter Boot Trim Replacement – 996 99-04 – 986 97-04

Replacement trim for your 996 or 986 Porsche shifter boot.

All trims suffer or will suffer from paint bubbling – its just a matter of time. When removing old trim its very likely it will get damaged. If you do it gently you may be in luck but then you are faced with long and meticulous job of removing old paint while being careful not to damage the surface underneath.

Porsche never offered trim replacement, so the only option is a DIY removal/repair or new shifter lever boot assembly (996-424-981-22) which is very costly.

This is accurate replacement trim made using MJF technology with HP PA 12 Nylon, which has excellent mechanical properties as well as good resistance to chemicals, flex, heat and elements.

This comes unfinished in raw gray color, you will need to paint with your choice.
